On the 13th June 2014 Ministers, MPs, Political leaders, UN Heads of Missions, Development Partners, CSOs, key actors in the health sector as well as cultural and religious leaders, congregated at the Presidential Lodge in Arua, to participate in the EMTCT Stakeholder’s Consultative Meeting.
The Meeting which was a great success discussed the status of EMTCT in the Region and made recommendations on key issues regarding the public’s response to EMTCT services and HIV and AIDS in general. The objectives of the Stakeholder’s Consultative Meeting were:
- To provide a Forum for key stakeholders in the EMTCT Response to share information regarding EMTCT and HIV AND AIDS in general; and
- To hold conversations on hindrances to Male Involvement in EMTCT and share recommendations to address them.
